Vladimir Batagelj
Vladimir Batagelj is a Slovenian mathematician, born 1948 in Idrija, Slovenia, who works mainly in data analysis, discrete mathematics, combinatorial optimization and applications of IT in education.
He is Professor of Discrete and Computational Mathematics at the University of Ljubljana.
With Andrej Mrvar he is developing, since 1996, Pajek, a software for analysis and visualization of large networks which was started as a project to support Andrej's work on his PhD thesis.
